Get in touchI learned to code through an 8-week digital coding bootcamp in 2021, before moving into freelance web development. Since then, I’ve built and collaborated on almost 100 custom websites, including several years working with a small creative design studio.
That experience taught me how to preserve the detail and intention of a design, while thinking through the technical details behind it.
I build static custom websites using Jekyll, HTML, Tailwind CSS and JavaScript. My JavaScript covers standard interactions such as fades, transitions, sliders, and accordions. Complex bespoke animations and advanced functionality sit outside my specialism, so if your project is heavily animation-led, I may not be the right fit.
If we’re working together on a full custom build and your client requires CMS access, I use and recommend CloudCannon - a simple, user-friendly editing platform which I am very familiar with and can provide training on.
My websites are hosted on Netlify or Cloudflare and synced with GitHub.
On the design side, I am familiar with both Figma and Adobe XD.
I currently only offer assistance with Shopify front-end customisations (back-end Settings including Markets, Shipping, or Taxes sit outside my scope).
I do my best work when building from scratch and configure the build for CMS edits within CloudCannon.

From there, I’ll provide you with a quote for the work. Upon approval, I'll take the build off your plate, keeping you updated throughout and working to the timeline we’ve agreed.

If you’d like me to have a relationship with your client or handle comms during the build, I’m very happy to discuss this.
Yes. I use Notion by default, but I'm flexible. I have used ClickUp, Asana and Monday.com in the past. If you have an existing system that works for you, I'm happy to work within it.
I work best with designers who are comfortable designing for the web. That includes thinking about responsive layouts, spacing, typography and hierarchy, and how the design will work across different screen sizes.
